How are my assets protected?
As a member of both CIRO and CIPF, Ventum offers coverage up to $1 million for general accounts combined, plus $1 million for both Registered plans and Registered Education plans. This provides added security that in the unlikely event of firm insolvency, client assets would be returned.
Are you a self-clearing firm?
Yes, Ventum is a self-clearing firm, meaning we’re not dependent on external providers to connect you to the markets and services you need. Our experienced operational team ensures streamlined communications and responsive support—so you get the features and service you expect.
Do you accept physical securities?
Yes, Ventum accepts physical securities including certificates and DRS statements for deposit across all Canadian exchanges, including the TSXV and CSE, as well as U.S. and international exchanges. Our expertise in navigating requirements and working with transfer agents ensures efficient processing, timely support, and reliable settlement.
How are fees structured?
